  1. Go to Settings on your Wix dashboard.

  2. Go down to eCommerce and Finance.

  3. Click on invoices and quotes.

  4. You'll see three general details at the top of the page: company ID, currency, and default payment terms.

  5. You’ll need to fill in your company ID if your location requires that. Continue filling in the remaining two general details. For example, you can select due on receipt for default payment terms.

  6. The following section is taxes. If you have taxes, you want to be applied to every invoice and quote, enter them here. This will automate the process and keep every order uniform to your tax requirements.

  7. If you upgraded to the Ascend package, you can remove Ascend branding from your emails, invoices, prices, and quotes at the bottom of the page. Click this if it applies to your business.

  2. Review your business logo. The logo will come from your Business logo settings, but you can change it if you need to.

  4. There is an area to fill in your business info and default notes.

  5. Choose a contact for your customer. You don’t need them to be a previous customer, but you do need their email information. You will have the option to add additional contacts, if applicable.

  6. Title your invoice.

  7. Add an invoice item under product or service. This will allow you to add the title, description, and price.

  8. If you have booking services connected to your Wix account, they will all appear under the product or services tab. This makes it easy to send previous services. Once you create an invoice template, it will appear in the drop-down menu for easy access.

  9. You can add notes and legal terms to your invoice. If you have terms and conditions, it’s a good rule of thumb to paste them into this section.

  10. Preview your invoice. It should include your logo, business information, due date, and all the details you added along the way.

  11. Click send on your invoice. Once you do this, it will allow you to edit the message that’s included in your invoice email.

  12. Once you send invoices, they will appear in your invoice tab. You can send a reminder, archive them, void them, etc.

  13. This screen will show you when the invoice has been viewed, and you’ll receive a notification upon client acceptance of the invoice.
